What is Blossom?
BLOSSOM is our online app - which enhances parental communication - all children attending Little Angels have a personal online learning journal that is shared with parents, and records photos, observations and comments in line with the EYFS, which builds up a record of your child's development and experiences during their time with us.
This will keep you informed of the areas of learning in which your child is achieving and the age range they are working in for a specific observed activity.
You probably already know that you can view photos, videos and written observations of your child whilst at nursery but did you know that you can also add your own photos, videos and observations from home?
If your child learns a new skill or your family goes on a lovely holiday or an exciting outing, we would love for you to upload those precious moments onto BLOSSOM to share with us. It helps us to know your child all the better and gives us a more well- rounded view of your child’s unique learning journey.
We whole-heartedly believe that parents are the first, and most important, teachers in their child’s life. We value your expert knowledge about your child and feel that working in partnership with you is the best way to ensure a holistic approach to learning and development.
The more we know about a child’s experiences outside of nursery, the more we can support them as they grow and develop. We value any information you can share with us about significant events and happenings in your child’s life that might impact their time with us.
We will regularly use BLOSSOM to share information with you about upcoming events, monthly challenges and home learning ideas and activities. You will be able to comment, as well, helping you to stay in contact with your child’s key person.
Parents can also access their invoices, funding, payments, receipts and book extra sessions for your child.
E-safety is extremely important to us at Little Angels. Therefore we ask you to sign an agreement to show you have read, understood and agree to our guidelines.
Once you have set your secure password, you are ready to go !
At the end of your child's time with us, you will receive a link to download your child's learning journal for you to keep.
